link back to my LJ for a meta about how Clara did what she did in the Name of the Doctor.

The Daleks in Asylum of the Daleks seem different than the Daleks we have been exposed to in the past. Do you think they evolved to this
state as a result of Davros's failure at the Crucible in Journey's End? Was their use of human hybrids a continuation of their experiments in Daleks in Manhattan?

Much has been speculated and discussed in fandom about romantic "shipping" specifically about the Doctor, and who he should be paired or
not paired with. What Who romantic relationships that didn't happen would you have liked to see on screen/in audios that do NOT involve the
Doctor as one of the participants? (any pairings spanning any eras is fine) What about this pairing appeals to you, and why do you think these two characters would get on well?

Have you ever written, read, or requested a "fix it" fiction? About what character, situation, or Doctor? What elements of the canon story
did you or the author of the 'fix it" find objectional? Did your opinion of the canon story change with time or a plot twist that you were not
expecting?

(Delayed post is delayed. Sorry, it was finals week!) =(

The writers of New Who keep insisting that being the Doctor's Companion is dangerous because the Doctor destroys lives. And it's certainly true that some of the Doctor's Companions, both in Classic Who and New Who, have suffered sad fates. But, by the same token, quite a number have gone on to accomplish things that made their world (or dimension, or galaxy) better. Which do you prefer and why? Are there any tragic fates that bother you or that you don't feel comfortable with? Conversely, are there any good endings for Companions that strike you as too optimistic? And are there any Companions whose fates weren't specified (or at least weren't described in much detail) that you'd like to see onscreen?

Rory indicates he remembers his years watching over Amy in the Pandorica. How do you think this changed his character? Is he more
sympathetic toward the Doctor and more amiable toward traveling with him?

Peter Davison has said in interviews that he was unhappy with the combatative dynamic that the Fifth Doctor was written to have with his companion Tegan and that he preferred to have the Doctor/companion to have a closer relationship based on mutual like (paraphrase). Do you enjoy a friction-filled dynamic like that between Tegan and the Fifth Doctor, or that between the Eighth Doctor and Lucie (who started out as a unwilling passenger), or do you prefer for the Doctor and his companion to be BFFs? Where is the line between the two?

How do you think the New Who companions would react to a different incarnation of the Doctor? Would Amy and Rory get along with the Ninth or
Tenth Doctors? What would Rose, Martha, Jack, or Donna think of the Eleventh Doctor?

The Eighth Doctor officially has a new costume, as seen in DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE 454. What are your thoughts on the new costume? Do you love or hate it, or are you indifferent to it and why? What are your thoughts on the fact that Paul McGann had a hand in creating it/pushing for it? (Note that whether or not you consider "Big Finish" events to be canonical or not is not the question.)

Knowing what you do about River Song after watching the Moffat era, what do you think about her fate of being saved to the library mainframe? Do you agree that she would have been content in this virtual world with virtual children?
